those five days.

back from arts camp 2009.
and i just had a fruitful sixteen hours of sleep.
5 days. gone. just like that.
it was a semi-emotional one, where i realised that the facade of joy, smiles and friendliness, may well crumble and fall to reveal hypocrisy and despondency.

it was truly a different experience, being a freshie back then, and an AOGL this time round.
i felt more like a baby back them, being spoon-fed and taken care of with tender loving care. no hidden emotions, no pressure. the title of "best female councillor" has yet to sink in, probably i felt there are so many other people deserving the title more than i do. im just luckier cos im blessed with fantastic councillors like josh, jeannette, muthu and keeonn (THANKS!) whom i felt were more on the ball and rahrah than me at times, so i felt assured to stone at times when i got really really tired from all these which wasn't in my blood -- leading an og, which involves physical activities. Also thanks to silin who took great care of the admin stuff as being meticulous isn't my forte too. And thanks to cheryl, wanting, yingle and yanyi, whom i know are always there to support and doing all the micro level stuff which i hardly have time to deal with.

Also needa thank juling!!! who has been there like a mother and mentor. a really great one! ((:

To jiade who believed in me and choosing me as his counterpart for the camp, thanks! The days you weren't around got me really worried, but I guess it made me feel the need to step up further and i was rewarded with an awesome experience.

To the freshies, thanks for being such an awesome bunch!! I felt really blessed to have you guys when I heard about other ogs, we were really united and wonderful okay!!! im glad that i didnt make the wrong move to pull hy into camp, as i know it'd truly enrich his future uni life, which i felt would apply to all other freshies too!

Can't wait for og outings! But gonna start working tomorrow. zzz.
